THE ROLE :



Create and implement the marketing and initiative strategy for each of our three food, drink and live music venues. Work in harmony with the company's strong ethical values and sensitively to the individual direction of each business the marketing manger will drive footfall and sales at each business whilst communicating the company's voice & message.

ABOUT YOU:

As our experienced

Marketing lead

, you'll create, shape and implement the

marketing strategy

for our three diverse but connected venues. You'll craft smart, engaging content, you'll promote gigs, food offers, events, our sustainability messaging, and amplify our wins. You'll be switched on to what's happening in the vibrant cultural landscape of Bristol and uphold, and grow our place in that. You'll carefully start conversations that engage new audiences. You'll be highly organised, and self motivated, able to work in a fast changing environment, be able to prioritise and juggle multi-venue schedules. You'll create engaging content quickly and efficiently - adept with all social platforms, mailchimp/newsletter tools etc, and bring enthusiasm for our values and ideally have a passion for food and our cultural offer in Bristol.

JOB DESCRIPTION:



Marketing



Produce and deliver annual & quarterly marketing strategy for each venue

Communicate with each venue to finesse and implement the strategy

Work closely and responsively with each venue

Develop each plan referencing sales data

Create a brief monthly marketing review identifying any gaps or places for opportunity

Research and analysis of customer data

Monitoring and working within the annual marketing budgets

Promote activities and events taking place at all venues, including seasonal promotions

Weekly meetings with each venue's management - include marketing and events we promote - test effectiveness

Management of the music marketing assistant

Management of any external freelancers creating marketing materials

Building connections with local community groups, events, influencers and press as necessary

Weave in sustainability storytelling into campaigns; vegetarian/plant-based, zero-waste, local sourcing, net zero path

Content Design



Design & write copy for creative briefs for print & digital advertising as directed in the strategy

Create menus, posters and all other digital and print assets

Proof all external marketing print and posters

Digital



Manage website content & maximise SEO

Create monthly digital analytics report

Write and email newsletters

Keep up to date across all platforms (Tripadvisor, google business etc)

Keep up to date with current and developing media

Social Media & Influencers

Manage all venue social media accounts. To include:

Responding to messages, posts and comments

Creating content for campaigns and individual posts

Schedule content to keep all strands of social media populated

Liaise with managers and chefs for up-to-date content

Manage music marketing assistant to create music-related posts

Liaise with local bloggers and organisations on promotions etc

Advertising / Press



Discovering and implementing opportunities for advertising

Uncover, create and distribute press release stories

Create and maintain a relationship with various press outlets, review bodies and journalists

Respond to requests from journalists for information/images/interviews/reviews promptly

Update and expand the company press, blogger & media list contacts list (needs work)

Analytics and Reporting



Monitoring, responding to and sharing customer reviews

Track engagement, ticket/footfall numbers, social trends, and marketing ROI.

Events



Managing event requests, overseeing & facilitating successful initiatives

Writing and sending contracts to event hire

Ensure external promoter's events and information are booked and delivered with lead time

Ensure all events and costs are communicated across all relevant departments

APPLICATION



This is a

part-time, 3-days-per-week flexible schedule

on-going contract with a 6 month probationary period.

The salary is 34-37k pro rata, depending on experience.
