Giant Bars is one of

Europe's leading flapjack brands

, known for our iconic Giant Bar flapjacks and growing portfolio of innovative, great-tasting bars. We're a second-generation family business established in 1992 who have sold over 350 million flapjacks and are selling in over 19 countries across Europe. Our energetic commercial office is based in the Bristol's Clifton. We also produce our delicious bars at our own separate modern bakery in Yate.

We're now looking for a

Marketing Manager

to join our growing team and take ownership of our brand activity across multiple channels. This is a hands-on, dynamic role ideal for someone with strong marketing experience, a proactive mindset, and a passion for building brands.

About The Role



A fantastic opportunity for a brand-focussed individual to take the lead in driving our brand's B2B and B2C marketing both in the UK and International markets.

With responsibility for the company's marketing activities, you will be expected to take every opportunity to shout about our brand and be fully conversant with advertising, PR and brand promoting both online and offline.

You will be reporting to our Head of Commercial while being in charge of activating our marketing strategy using your wide variety of skills and experience to drive brand exposure. As a small but highly effective commercial team, we individually lead our departments while working together as a group to achieve major projects. This role is therefore perfect for an energetic individual who enjoys getting involved, and a doer.

Key Responsibilities:



Plan and execute all

B2B marketing campaigns

, including trade advertising, promotions, sales materials, and point-of-sale assets Lead the

launch of new products

, from positioning and messaging to creative rollout Manage

PR efforts

to secure relevant trade and consumer coverage Coordinate

photoshoots

, visual content creation, and promotional assets Write and schedule regular

newsletters

for B2B and consumer audiences Deliver

brand collaborations, influencer activations, and partnerships

with relevant collaborators Manage day-to-day content creation and

social media posting

Planning and driving social media engagement -

getting involved

in content creation Organise and support

sampling initiatives and B2B activations

Work alongside our

graphic designer

to manage marketing design material Organising stands & marketing activations for the company's

trade exhibitions

Managing the company's digital media content and its' availability to stakeholders Other marketing related duties as assigned

Required Knowledge, Skills & Experience



3+ years' experience in a marketing role (preferably in FMCG, Food & Drink or DTC/retail brands) Strong

project management skills

and ability to juggle multiple projects Excellent written and verbal

communication skills

A practical, hands-on approach and the

ability to work independently

A good eye for brand, design and content - confidence working with creatives and agencies Comfortable getting involved in content and

being in front of the camera

when required Full-time availability to work in our Bristol office and travel as required

A love for brand marketing

and branding A highly organised mind with an ability to multi-task

Active and comfortable on social media

(especially B2B) Experience working with and executing

online and offline marketing activities

Experience

organising events

and trade activities Own transport/driving licence

Desirable Skills



Experience with paid marketing (influencers, adverts, etc) Skills in Canva, Photoshop/Adobe Suite, CapCut or basic video editing Existing relationships with influencers or PR contacts Event or sampling experience with confident social skills
