P&E Sports is a rapidly growing provider of Sports and School facility management, working in partnership with Schools, community organisations, local authorities and charity organisations to maximise use of venue facilities and community involvement. About the Role
To oversee and deliver all marketing, social media, communications and related
activities for P and E Sports across the group ensuring a coordinated and effective approach that maximises visibility, engagement, and income.
The post holder will support the development and delivery of P and E Sports marketing plans in line with the company's marketing strategy, aims, and objectives. This includes
evaluating customer research, market conditions, and competitive activity to inform
strategic decision-making and implementing targeted marketing plans as required.
A key focus will be identifying opportunities to improve direct communications with
the public, increase participation, attendance, and sales across all centres. Your responsibilities will be for upholding and evolving the P and E Sports brand ensuring consistency of voice, design, and messaging across all channels and touchpoints to both internal and external audiences. You will champion a digital-first culture maximising the use of websites, social media platforms, future Apps, and other emerging technologies to strengthen customer engagement and deliver measurable results.
Key Responsibilities
Social media
Plan, develop, share, and coordinate responses to questions and posts on the P and E Sports platforms.
Plan, develop and share posts on LinkedIn.
Schedule posts on Facebook Groups and main accounts - Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn - as and when required.
Monitor and report on all SM activity and engagement
Continue to grow digital communities
Monitor competitor's social media channels
Merge and Streamline P and E Sports brand, artwork and messages across all platform.
Working with Group Business Manager of the planning, creating, monitoring, and evaluating of paid-for campaigns.
Email marketing
Support the management of the organisation, collation, and distribution of the quarterly e-newsletter for Centres, Schools and Clients.
Liase with SLTS and Centre Managers and use research to devise, execute and manage targeted and effective communications campaigns with a concept, message, and call to action.
Monitor and report on the success of campaigns.
Organise and distribute ad-hoc, targeted email communications.
Website
Oversee, design and manage P and E Sports New and fast growing website
Create webpages, blogs, news pieces and forms to increase profile of and support P and E Sports activities
Advise and implement changes to the customer journey/navigation of the website
Ad-hoc updating as required; identify and rectify any errors
Lead on SEO requirements
Communications
Share Internal communications updates to maximise staff engagement with products and services
Liaise and plan with key staff to ensure optimise the content that is included in communications.
Add and manage email triggers to the School Hire, Club Right and other LMS platforms.
Create call-drivers for the Customer Services team as required
Content

Assist with the implementation of the PR plan to share positive news stories and maximise press coverage

Contribute to the successful operation of the company by undertaking such other tasks as may from time to time be required including all other duties reasonably associated with your role, as directed by the Line Manager.

Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities Required:
Marketing/Communications management : Minimum 2 years' experience.
Experience in working with the Leisure and Fitness Industry (desirable)
Demonstrable hands-on experience of designing and implementing impactful communication strategies.
Demonstrable experience of designing and delivering physical and digital campaigns that influence and shift public behaviours.
Demonstrable experience of using multiple software's from web design, canva and video editing.
Demonstrable management experience of digital mass communications, platforms and presences to ensure digital communications and campaigning is fully leveraged through applying continuous monitoring, evaluation, learning, accountability and innovation.
Demonstrable experience of content strategy across all digital channels and playing a lead role in the design and delivery of communication strategies and assets.
Willingness and ability to travel as required for the role including occasional evenings and weekends.
