Job Description

At Storth Machinery, marketing is about understanding people and building awareness about how our products and services can satisfy their needs. We are looking for a versatile Marketing Manager who is hungry to do this and more. Our ideal candidate will develop and execute marketing campaigns while managing and inspiring people. They will be comfortable with day-to-day marketing activities, as well as long-term strategy, thriving with tight deadlines and changing needs.

Objectives of the role



Manage the promotion and positioning of Storth's brand, products and services.
Use market research and analysis to direct marketing strategy and planning.

Lead the execution of marketing programs from start to finish, leveraging internal support and driving collaboration. Attract customers to buy from the company and raise brand awareness through the creation of marketing campaigns. Oversee the production of all promotional materials and marketing campaigns. Report marketing and sales results to the Sales Manager.

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities



Establish marketing goals based on past performance and market forecasts. Oversee current offerings and comes up with initiatives for new products or services. Research and analyse market trends, demographics, pricing schedules, competitor products, and other relevant information to form marketing strategies. Use Google Analytics and Meta Suite can help to forecast these. Develop detailed marketing plans for all media channels and sales teams. Approve and oversee the creative development of promotional materials, website content, advertisements, and other marketing-related projects using Canva & InDesign. Communicate with media buyers, advertising agencies, printers and other services to ensure marketing projects run smoothly. Provide in-depth information to interested client acting as a representative for the marketing department in important buyer meetings. Work within the department budget to develop cost-effective marketing plans for each product or service. Track marketing and sales data to report to the Sales Manager. Adjust marketing campaigns and strategies as needed in response to collected data and other feedback. Visit sites to create impactful product videos using a drone and gimble to achieve this. Book and organise all agricultural trade shows whilst attending the occasional show. Maintain the Storth website and ensure all website updates including SEO, key phrases and Quote Request Forms are checked regularly to ensure the best success rate for the website. Ensure all our dealers are aware of any relevant marketing changes and support their marketing activities. Organise and host Young Farmer Club visits to the factory in the evenings.

Skills and Qualifications



Bachelors degree in marketing, business, or related field. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience developing marketing plans and campaigns. Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills. Metrics-driven marketing mind with eye for creativity. Proficiency with online marketing and social media strategy. Proven experience designing interactive applications and networking platforms. Experience of using Canva, InDesign and WordPress an advantage. Willingness and ability to travel. May be required to stay away from home when attending shows etc.
