Role Overview
We're looking for a commercially minded, strategic Senior Marketing Manager who is both a thinker and a doer. This is a highly independent role requiring someone who can develop high-level strategy while also delivering results on the ground. You will have the opportunity to design, build, and lead a marketing department with the ambition to become best-in-class within the energy industry. You will lead the execution of inbound campaigns, digital growth, brand partnerships, and social engagement - driving measurable results and helping Fusion scale its impact across the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow strategic partner relationships in line with brand and business objectives
- Support the business in achieving a 5% market share within the next 5 years
- Work closely with sales operations to convert pipeline opportunities into revenue
- Manage and onboard key strategic partners and commercial relationships
- Design, build and implement a high-performing inbound lead channel
- Define and optimise the customer journey to drive engagement and lifetime value
- Contribute to achieving a customer retention rate of 90% or higher
- Help attract new talent and support recruitment through employer branding and marketing
- Grow and develop the internal brand to enhance team engagement and culture
Key DeliverablesWhat You Bring
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a B2B marketing role, ideally within energy, sustainability, or professional services
- Proven track record in inbound marketing and agency management
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Commercial mindset with experience using data to inform strategy
- Experience working with content, CRM, social media, and digital analytics tools
Desirable
- Background in energy or sustainability sectors
- Experience delivering Net Zero or ESG-related campaigns
- Familiarity with HubSpot, Google Ads, SEO tools and content planning frameworks
