Cocktail Week Marketing Manager Role
Cocktail Week is a dynamic and growing series of events across 20+ major cities in the UK & Ireland, designed to showcase the best in cocktails and hospitality while driving footfall to local bars. With a focus on supporting local businesses, our events have become significant tourism drivers and industry highlights. As we expand, we are seeking a Marketing Manager to drive our brand visibility, audience engagement, and promotional strategies, ensuring our national events programme reaches and captivates a wide audience.
The Role
This is a senior leadership role with both strategic and creative responsibility. As Marketing Manager, you will develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies for Cocktail Week events across multiple locations, while overseeing marketing operations and team efforts to maximize impact. You will act as the central driver of brand growth: crafting campaigns, coordinating with partners, and ensuring all promotional activities align with business goals and event timelines.
You'll collaborate closely with hospitality venues, drinks brands, sponsors, and the events team to amplify event reach, while managing internal marketing workflows to deliver innovative and effective promotions.
Key Responsibilities
o? ?Lead the development and execution of marketing strategies for Cocktail Week events across the UK & Ireland, including digital, social, and experiential campaigns.
o? ?Manage and mentor the marketing team, freelancers, and agencies to create compelling content and deliver high-impact promotions.
o? ?Oversee day-to-day marketing operations, ensuring campaigns are launched on time and optimized for performance.
o? ?Build and maintain strong relationships with venues, sponsors, and drinks brands to co-create marketing initiatives and secure promotional partnerships.
o? ?Ensure campaigns remain on track, analyzing metrics proactively and adjusting tactics to meet KPIs.
o? ?Work with the events team to align marketing efforts with event objectives, enhancing attendee experiences through targeted promotions.
o? ?Monitor campaign performance, gather audience feedback, and implement data-driven improvements for future events.
o? ?Report regularly to senior leadership on marketing ROI, audience growth, and emerging opportunities.
What We're Looking For
o? ?Experience in marketing within the hospitality, food & drink, or lifestyle sectors, ideally with event promotion.
o? ?Proven track record of managing marketing campaigns and teams.
o? ?Strong strategic and creative skills, with the ability to balance high-level planning with hands-on execution.
o? ?Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities, with confidence in pitching to and collaborating with multiple stakeholders.
o? ?A proactive, data-driven mindset, able to optimize campaigns in a fast-paced environment.
o? ?Experience with sponsorship activations, digital marketing tools, and audience segmentation.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 30,000.00-35,000.00 per year
