Central Office staff work closely with schools, offering a wealth of expertise to underpin schools\xe2\x80\x99 own knowledge. Our specialist departments, including HR, finance, technology, strategy and performance, estates, and marketing, work alongside dedicated school improvement teams. By joining us, you will provide ongoing support to schools, ultimately improving the outcomes of our pupils.

The Role

United Learning offers a range of services for schools, and the teachers and support staff who work in them. We are now recruiting an experienced marketing manager who will help us to grow our brand, promote our services, and support our aim to bring out the best in everyone.

This is a hybrid role. You will be required to work on-site two days a week (either in our Peterborough office or occasionally travelling to other locations as required), and can choose to work from home three days a week.

As Marketing Manager for United Learning, you will be responsible for the planning and delivery of a comprehensive marketing strategy for a range of our services, including the United Curriculum and a number of our professional development programmes.

You will also increase awareness of United Learning nationally, supporting our brand identity and our staff recruitment strategy.

This is a high-profile role, working with colleagues across United Learning\xe2\x80\x99s central office, with the United Curriculum and Professional Development teams, and with our schools. This role offers you the opportunity to support an exciting portfolio of services that are improving life outcomes for young people.

Some travel within the UK, and occasional out-of-hours travel/working, is required.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Director of Marketing and senior leaders in United Learning to develop marketing plans
  • Deliver all marketing activities on time and to budget, with a particular focus on copywriting, social media, advertising, email campaigns and exhibitions and events
  • Be responsible for the development and production of all required marketing collateral, including website content
  • Analyse and report on the success of marketing activities, utilising Google Ads and Analytics, relevant CRM systems, customer surveys and reporting, and other tools as required
  • Act as brand guardian, ensuring quality and consistency across all platforms to build awareness and reputation
  • Mentor junior members of the marketing team and support their development. It is anticipated that this role will line manage one person
  • Fulfil any other duties as may be reasonably requested
