We're looking for an inspiring and dynamic Marketing Manager who's ready to do things differently. This isn't just a job, it's your chance to build, shape and lead our marketing direction from the ground up.

You'll be the driving force behind our brand presence, leading campaigns that raise our profile, grow our reach and amplify our message to donors, partners and the wider public. You'll work cross functionally, turning ideas into action and helping secure vital support to keep our work thriving.

Person Specification



The successful person will have working knowledge and experience of project management, monitoring, evaluation and running and meeting projects to deadlines under pressure. You're a marketing professional with a passion for purpose. You've got the skills, energy and vision to take our marketing to the next level.

You should have/be

Ability to work in a stressful environment with financial targets whilst maintaining attention to detail Passion for the cause and commitment Entrepreneurial, emotionally intelligent and endlessly driven to make a difference Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team, comfortable juggling multiple priorities and hitting deadlines with ease Strong analytical skills and the ability to think strategically A strategic thinker with a flair for storytelling and the ability to influence Proven experience of delivering high impact marketing with income growth in a non profit setting Confident in managing budgets, leading projects and reporting to senior leaders Proven knowledge of digital innovation Excellent communication skills and ability to create and maintain relationships
You should have a strong commitment to young people and a thorough knowledge of the issues they face, working with passion and motivation. You will gain an in depth understanding of our fantastic Theory of Change which supports young people to develop positive relationships.

Strategy



Design and lead the marketing strategy aligned to our mission and Theory of Change Create integrated marketing campaigns that boost awareness and drive growth Lead the creation of standout marketing campaigns that increase awareness, inspire action and attract funding Lead Vibe UK's brand positioning from digital channels to print and PR Collaborate with the wider organisation to supercharge donor engagement and event visibility Contribute to the Vibe UK corporate strategy and policy Ensure young people are at the heart of all we do

Delivery



Plan and execute marketing campaigns that raise the profile of Vibe UK, promote events, and increase engagement across digital and print platforms Support bid writing and fundraising initiatives from identifying opportunities to crafting persuasive proposals Support community fundraising, empowering others to choose Vibe UK as their cause during sponsored events and campaigns Organise and promote events (e.g. trade shows, awareness days) that reflect the energy and purpose of our work Evaluate campaign success and improve performance using creative, budget-conscious solutions Ensure brand and messaging consistency across all channels, aligned with organisational goals Be a visible ambassador for Vibe UK at events and in the community, representing our mission with impact and integrity

People



Line manage and support the Social Media & Communications team, providing guidance, mentoring and performance oversight to ensure high quality content and delivery across platforms Engage young people in marketing planning and content development wherever possible Collaborate with internal teams to amplify key projects and ensure cohesive messaging across the charity Work closely with senior management to inform and align marketing efforts with wider organisational priorities

Managing resources



Partner with colleagues to shape funding models from concept to application, providing strategic marketing support throughout Lead on website management, ensuring content is current, impactful and aligned with Vibe UK's brand and strategic goals Manage digital marketing efforts, supporting the Social Media & Communications team to create engaging content across web, email and social platforms Track marketing performance against income targets, supporting year-on-year funding growth Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and campaign outputs

Monitoring and evaluation



Ensure all marketing activities reflect and support the Vibe UK Theory of Change Monitor performance across all marketing channels and benchmark against sector best practice Continuously seek improvement by analysing data, testing strategies and sharing insights Provide regular updates on campaign performance and impact to senior leadership and trustees

Building relationships



Lead the development and management of key relationships with funders, stakeholders and partners across the North West and beyond Proactively grow new partnerships that enhance our reach and long-term sustainability Ensure marketing and fundraising efforts reflect stakeholder needs and generate new revenue streams

Ability to work independently, tackle problems creatively and think laterally and as part of a team Outstanding written and communication skills, ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders, ability to communicate effectively at Executive and SMT level Excellent IT and writing skills. Able to concentrate to ensure quality and pace is delivered on lengthy pieces of work Track record of developing successful marketing strategies and ability to develop strategic plans. Ability to work effectively under pressure, managing conflicting priorities and to meet challenging deadlines. Knowledge of how to increase income and visibility through marketing B2B and B2C experience Strong knowledge of digital tools and campaign analytics Ability to think both strategically and commercially with a good understanding of overall business dynamics Experience managing marketing budgets Able to deliver a varied and complex workload Able to manage complicated and sensitive information from a variety of sources Knowledge of the issues facing youth sector Understanding of working for a Community Benefit Society/Charity or Mutual organisation Driving Licence D1+E Educated to degree level or equivalent

What do you get in return?



Salary: 36,000 - 39,000 per annum (DOE)

Days/Hours of work: 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday (will include some evenings & weekends when necessary)

Location: Throughout Merseyside - Driving desirable
