Working within the Times Media Customer Growth department which is made up of marketing, data, insights, and business transformation/new business development teams. The customer is at the heart of everything we do and we are committed to creating and personalising products to meet their needs and desires, using data and insight to drive these.
Our focus is to engage, inform, inspire and entertain customers with our content, delivering it to them on multiple platforms, whilst maximising customer revenue generation from partnerships, products and business extensions that they trust and value. Your Role:
This role will be part of the customer acquisition marketing team whose focus is to drive growth in digital subscriptions for The Times and Sunday Times and ensure our brand is properly represented across the business. You'll work across a variety of projects but have a particular focus on Times Radio and launching our new podcasts. You will be an experienced marketer with good creative and commercial instincts who can work collaboratively to create innovative campaigns that align with The Times and Sunday Times' values and objectives.
Day to day you will:
Work closely with the Senior Marketing Manager and the Head of Marketing on campaigns across owned, earned and paid channels that drive brand, reputational and commercial growth.
Write brilliant briefs rooted in customer data and insight that will inspire our agencies.
Manage campaigns and BAU assets delivery closely with our creative agency team giving clear feedback and liaising with in-house teams for timely delivery.
Collaborate closely with our in house media team, PR, CRM, Times Radio and podcast editorial teams when working on campaigns and brand initiatives.
Organise shoots for new presenters on Times Radio
Coach and manage one marketing executive in the team.
Review performance of in-house channels, identify new opportunities and provide recommendations to enhance results.
Oversee the weekly press plan, identifying priorities and working closely with our in-house creative agency on the ad placement.
What we're looking for from you:
Progressive experience in a marketing role with a well established brand - experience in news/media, radio or podcasts beneficial.
Experienced in multi platform marketing campaigns with good understanding of digital media and analytics.
A sharp eye for detail and ability to proof copy and creative materials to ensure consistency and quality.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams with different levels of stakeholders.
A passion for news and culture and strong knowledge of the media landscape
Enjoys working in a fast paced environment juggling multiple priorities.
Highly organised and proactive with a can-do approach and ability to efficiently manage your time and workload.
Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and trying new ideas.
