Our Marketing Manager role will help us to tell Madano's story to enhance Madano's visibility and brand image both externally and within the AVENIR GLOBAL network. The Marketing Manager will make sure that we project this potential brand DNA to the world in a timely, relevant and engaging way.

Whilst our core work is producing creative and strategic solutions for our clients and leading their communications, Madano needs a dedicated resource to focus on
our own brand
and how to make it go further. We have made some good progress on prioritising our own company profile, and we have a clear view of who we are (our Brand DNA) and where we want to go. Now, we need to make it happen - with a programme of content, campaigns, brand & partnership activity and events, to put Madano on the map.

This also requires imaginative internal marketing and design to bring activities and communications to life.
The role - Marketing Manager
We are looking for a dynamic individual who is passionate about brands, marketing and people. This role will cover an exciting breadth of responsibilities, offering a unique opportunity to develop key skills and gain valuable marketing experience at the heart of the business. This is a new role, created to support the Madano growth journey and help us reach our full potential as one of the leading communications specialists in the UK and one of the best places to work. To achieve this the successful candidate will work closely with our Head of Projects & Delivery ensuring that every campaign and activities supports Madano objectives.
Our Marketing Manager will be a driving force in increasing the performance of the Madano brand and our identity externally and internally:
Identifying the right marketing activities to achieve individual practice marketing objective and lift Madano company visibility
Working together with practices to implement marketing strategies and deliver different marketing campaigns online and offline
Enhance and evaluate existing marketing activities to improve their impact and work on the most impactful initiatives
Key roles and responsibilities
Marketing Activity Planning & Direction
Develop an annual marketing strategy based on Madano's overall objectives and practice specific goals including both internal and external activities.
Proactively identify new marketing opportunities throughout the year in response to business developments.
Promote best practice in marketing across the business by continually reviewing and improving current activities.
Campaign Execution & Channel Management
Collaborate with practices to co-create and implement integrated marketing campaigns across digital and offline channels (e.g. events, panels). This might include working together with practice leads to enhance their practice visibility by identifying speaking opportunities and support development and promotion of thought leadership work.
Promote Madano's offers and products internal and external by developing and implementing launch plans.
Lead and coordinate content creation and scheduling for Madano's social media platforms, ensuring relevance, consistency, and timeliness.
Manage and update website content via the CMS, ensuring optimisation for both engagement and discoverability.
Support planning and promotion of internal and external events, including event planning, coordination of marketing materials and communications.
Support award submissions by identifying opportunities and coordinating their submissions
Brand and Content Management
Act as a brand guardian, maintaining consistency of tone, style, and visual identity across all external and internal communications.
Produce engaging, on-brand content tailored to different audiences and channels.
Ensure all content meets high standards through structured approvals and proofreading.
Planning & Coordination
Create, own and maintain the annual marketing calendar, aligning planned activities with strategic goals and key business moments.
Manage the marketing calendar
Manage delivery timelines and facilitate input from across the business proactively via marketing plans and reactively by identifying in-the-moment opportunities.
Internal Communications & Engagement
Champion marketing internally through regular updates at quarterly business briefings and leadership sessions.
Integrate key internal initiatives (D&I, CSR, Wellbeing, Social) into the marketing calendar where appropriate.
Coordinate with AVENIR GLOBAL sister brands to support network-wide campaigns and share best practice.
Performance, Analytics & Reporting
Monitor and analyse campaign and channel performance, using insights to refine strategy and maximise effectiveness.
Provide regular updates on marketing progress for the Managing Partner, Executive Team and quarterly company meetings.
Track key performance indicators and prepare monthly reports to evaluate impact and inform future plans.
Skills and Experience Required
Essential
4+ years of experience in marketing or corporate communications, ideally in a B2B or professional services environment.
Ability to manage events including organisation, communications and promotions.
Strong experience in campaign development and implementation.
Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, platforms and tools (e.g. CMS, social media, email marketing).
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Confident content creator with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences and formats.
Clear and compelling communicator, both written and verbal, with strong presentation skills.
Naturally creative and resourceful, with a flair for engaging and intuitive content development.
Strong stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills; able to influence and collaborate effectively across teams, and seniority level including with Executive and Business Development Team members.
Strategic thinker with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset and strong sense of initiative.
Demonstrated ability to uphold and evolve brand identity across platforms and formats.
Desirable
Understanding of SEO principles and how to optimise web content for search performance.
Ability to interpret data and analytics to evaluate performance and guide decision-making.
Experience working in a matrixed or cross-functional environment.
Familiarity with internal communications or employee engagement campaigns.
Experienced in managing marketing budgets.
