About the Role





Acamar Films is looking for an experienced and driven Marketing Manager to join their team. Reporting into the Head of Communications, the role sits at the heart of the company in a small, dynamic team to support the international development and growth for the Emmy Award winning and BAFTA nominated pre-school property, Bing.



You will act as a brand guardian for Bing, supporting the Head of Communications in all areas including corporate communications, trade and consumer marketing, retail, partnerships and PR across multiple territories. The role collaborates closely with internal teams including licensing, content distribution, social media, digital, production and design as well as licensees, international agents, retailers, content partners and external agencies to drive awareness and affinity and increase revenues.



You will be a commercially minded strategic thinker with executional expertise and passionate about bringing children and family brands to consumers across multiple touchpoints.

What You'll Do:




Corporate Communications




Support internal communications such as company updates and newsletters. Assist with external communications, including press releases, corporate website and trade coverage. Help coordinate company presentations, events, and award submissions. Ensure consistency of company messaging across channels.



Trade Marketing




Working with Head of Communications to communicate plans to trade partners, licensees and retailers including trade PR, events, presence at key trade shows (e.g. Brand Licensing Europe, Kidscreen, MIPCOM), advertising, awards, sponsorship and newsletters. Lead retail marketing programmes in multiple territories collaborating closely with licensing agents, toy and publishing partners. Collaborate with the Licensing team and local agents to create and deliver compelling sales material including presentations, pitches, sizzles, licensee day materials etc... Instigate and execute cross promotional opportunities between partners to maximise sell-through, gain listings and expand visibility



Consumer Marketing




Work closely with the Head of Comms to plan, deliver and execute annual consumer PR & marketing plans to increase awareness and affinity amongst consumers and create appetite for Bing products and experiences. Work closely with Social Platforms Manager on organic social activity and support the Head of Communications in planning and execution of digital paid media campaigns Support the Head of Comms to deliver and execute an aligned strategy for the content distribution, digital, social media and licensing teams ensuring message consistency and amplification Specific focus on new markets and supporting master toy launches



IP management




Support the IP planning process, contributing to cross-team strategic discussions Develop marketing plans for new markets working with our broadcast partners, production and social/digital functions to maximise awareness and prepare for licensing launch Research and closely monitor brand health metrics in key markets, competitive landscape, trends and market information and report findings to wider business. Budget planning and tracking, reporting updates to the Head of Communications Promote marketing best practices across international territories both internally and externally



Your Skills




CIM Qualification or equivalent marketing degree or commensurate experience Solid experience in Corporate, Trade and Consumer marketing & PR Solid international experience in the entertainment industry across content and licensing Demonstrable experience of working within a business targeting children and families Knowledge and experience of master toy launches and retail development Hands-on experience of writing press releases, sales and marketing copy Experience of budget planning and tracking costs effectively Proven ability to organise and manage workload and priorities effectively Proficient in Google Workspace Excellent Powerpoint skills




About You:
