A fantastic opportunity for a seasoned Marketing Manager to support the Head of Marketing and Business Development (and small, very busy and dynamic marketing team) in the sustained delivery of exceptional marketing campaigns across the full marketing mix, to ensure growth in business objectives across all the Swinton Estate's revenue streams.
We're looking for an experienced and versatile Marketing Manager who's eager to do this - and more. Experience in developing and executing marketing strategies - equally proficient with day-to-day marketing function management and long-term strategising, under tight deadlines. This role will oversee the management of one direct report.

The Swinton Estate is situated in the Yorkshire Dales and is one of the largest privately owned estates in England, with an unwavering commitment to sustainability. Constantly developing, the estate is home to Swinton Park Hotel, holiday cottages, Samuel's Restaurant; Chef's Table, Terrace Restaurant and Bar, Country Club, Swinton Bivouac (a glamping site with tree lodges, yurts and cafe), Swinton Cookery School; rural enterprises, farm tenants, residential tenants and eco-services.
Objectives of this role
Establish positioning, identify target audiences, and develop marketing plans with specific objectives across different channels, segments and diverse revenue streams
Lead the execution of marketing strategies from start to finish, leveraging internal support and driving collaboration
Analyse audience insights, trends, market analysis, and marketing best practices to build successful strategies; understanding the key marketing performance metrics and translate into achievable insights and creative 'on-brand' solutions
Create, maintain, and conduct analytics reporting across multiple platforms and extract key insights for future campaign development and 'go-to-market' strategies.
Work closely with the events and revenue teams to ensure brand consistency and development of revenue streams.
Create compelling, cross platform content.
Responsibilities
Help develop creative briefs and guide creative direction to meet objectives for all marcomms across varied revenue streams.
Conceptualise and execute multichannel marketing strategies across the prospect and guest lifecycle, ensuring the alignment of communications and messaging in all channels, including website and app. Ability to fully utilise CRM systems to achieve this.
Establish (and work to) budget guidelines.
Identify effectiveness and impact of current marketing initiatives with tracking and analysis, and optimise accordingly.
Optimise and develop SEO strategies.
Required skills and qualifications
Proven success in developing marketing plans and campaigns
Degree in Marketing or similar
Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills
Metrics-driven marketing mind with eye for creativity
Experience with marketing automation and CRM tools
The ability to take 'ownership' for the role expeditiously.
Ability to manage and plan multiple campaigns at any one time.
Experience in the development/coordination of events from a marketing perspective.
Attention to detail and proof reading experience.
Excellent working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, InDesign, video, WordPress, SEO and GA4.
Must have a creative eye along with solid, creative, copy writing skills.
Experience of working in a large, complex business.
