The Marketing Manager role
As the Marketing Manager at Bluestep, you'll take a strategic and hands-on role in leading the planning, execution, and optimisation of integrated marketing campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and demand across all of our sectors. Reporting into senior leadership and managing a small team, you'll be responsible for overseeing both digital and conventional marketing activity, while championing best practices across inbound, outbound, and performance-based marketing.
You will bring at least two years' experience in a marketing management role, ideally within an agency or fast-paced creative environment, and be confident running multi-channel campaigns from concept to delivery. With a strategic mindset and excellent communication skills, you'll work across departments to support business objectives and drive measurable results.
This role also involves leading website rebuild/redesign projects and would particularly suit someone experienced in project managing digital transformation initiatives.
Main Responsibilities for the Marketing Manager

Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns
across digital and traditional channels.

Lead, manage and mentor
a small team (minimum of 2), ensuring clear goals, regular feedback, and professional development.
? Own and evolve the
marketing strategy
to support lead generation, brand visibility, and commercial growth.
? Plan and manage a
website redesign and rebuild
project, working closely with internal teams and external partners.
? Oversee both
inbound and outbound marketing activity
, including email marketing, social media, content strategy, events, and paid advertising.
? Drive
demand generation
initiatives to support sales and business development teams.
? Collaborate with design, content, and digital teams to ensure cohesive and
impactful campaign delivery

? Monitor campaign performance and
report on key metrics
to inform future strategy.
? Work with platforms such as HubSpot for marketing automation, CRM, and performance tracking.

Stay up to date
with marketing trends and bring innovative ideas to the table.
? Establish
key performance indicators
(KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and partnerships. Provide
regular reports
on marketing activities, including ROI analysis.

Develop and manage the marketing budget
, allocating resources efficiently to achieve maximum impact.

Marketing Manager Experience & Knowledge
? University Bachelor's Degree level in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field
? Minimum 2 years' experience in a Marketing Manager role or similar
? Agency experience is highly desirable
? Proven experience in both digital and conventional marketing disciplines
? Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a small team
? Strong strategic planning skills with a track record of delivering integrated marketing campaigns
? Experience with demand generation, inbound, and outbound marketing tactics
? Hands-on experience in managing website redesign/rebuild projects is essential
? Familiarity with HubSpot (or similar marketing automation platforms) is a strong advantage
? Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to inform decisions
? Excellent organisational and communication skills with a proactive, solutions-focused approach

On offer for the Marketing Manager
? Salary: 40,000 - 45,000 per annum (depending on experience)

? Some travel/overnight stays will be expected
