Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Marketing Manager to lead our marketing and recruitment initiatives through our next growth phase, with a particular focus on attracting talented lawyers to join our growing team.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Marketing & Brand Development
Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy to enhance the firm's brand visibility within the legal sector.
Position the firm as a platform of choice for lawyers seeking a modern, flexible, and innovative working environment.
Develop a detailed understanding of the market, competitors and the influences on how (target) lawyers view the prospect of joining a legal platform business such as Nexa.
Develop and execute a marketing plan that is aligned to deliver the organisation's business plan, to include description of target personas/markets and attraction approach.
Oversee the creation of marketing materials, digital content, and campaigns that highlight the firm's unique value proposition to prospective legal talent.
Lawyer Recruitment Marketing Campaigns
Design and execute targeted recruitment marketing campaigns to attract qualified solicitors, partners, and legal teams.
Collaborate with the HR and Talent Acquisition teams to identify key recruitment needs and tailor marketing efforts accordingly.
Utilise digital channels (website, social media, legal job boards, professional networks) to reach and engage potential candidates.
Organise and promote recruitment events, webinars, and networking opportunities.
Stakeholder Engagement
Build a constructive working relationship with internal and 'fractional' colleagues to deliver the above.
Build and maintain relationships with legal industry bodies, universities and professional associations to expand the firm's recruitment network.
Act as a brand ambassador at industry events, conferences, and seminars.
Analytics & Reporting
Monitor, analyse, and report on the effectiveness of marketing and recruitment campaigns.
Use data-driven insights to refine strategies and maximise return on investment.
Generate data-led, insightful monthly marketing reports to be presented at periodic management meetings, providing quantifiable assessment of the returns being generated for our marketing spend.
Budget Management
Manage the marketing budget by interacting with the Finance team, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to support recruitment objectives.
Person Specification
Essential Skills & Experience
Proven experience in marketing, preferably within the legal or professional services sector.
Demonstrable success in the delivery of effective recruitment marketing or talent attraction campaigns.
Strong understanding of digital marketing, employer branding, and content creation.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Desirable Attributes
Experience working in or with new model or alternative law firms.
Familiarity with legal sector recruitment trends and challenges.
Creative, proactive, and results-oriented approach.
