About Us

We are a stylish, upmarket dessert restaurant with a passion for creating memorable experiences through indulgent desserts and warm, welcoming service. As we grow into a new phase, we're looking for a creative and community-minded individual to lead our marketing efforts--both online and offline.

Our goal is to build a strong digital presence on platforms like

Instagram and TikTok

, while also turning our space into a community hub, offering a newly available

meeting room for local businesses

and events.

The Role

This is a

dual-focused marketing role

for someone who loves both

creative content

and

community engagement

. You'll be responsible for:

1.

Social Media & Content Marketing

Build and implement our

Instagram and TikTok strategy

from scratch. Create engaging, scroll-stopping content (reels, stories, videos, photos). Plan, schedule, and post content consistently. Collaborate with the team to showcase desserts, behind-the-scenes, staff, events, and customer stories. Monitor trends and platform updates to keep our brand relevant. Manage DMs, comments, and customer engagement on social platforms. Work with influencers or local creators where beneficial.
2.

Community & Business Engagement

Promote and manage bookings for our

in-house meeting/event room

. Build and nurture relationships with

local businesses, schools, and community groups

. Identify and attend

local events, networking opportunities, and business forums

. Be the local "face" of the brand--someone who represents us with charm and professionalism. Organise and support

experiential marketing activities

(pop-ups, sampling events, community projects). Suggest and run local campaigns (e.g. "Work From Dessert", small business spotlights, local competitions).

Who You Are

A social media

native

, especially on Instagram and TikTok. Great at

filming and editing short-form content

using your phone. Creative, proactive, and full of ideas. Warm and personable--you know how to make and grow relationships. Organised, with strong attention to detail and follow-through. A

self-starter

who can own a project from idea to execution. Ideally from a

hospitality, marketing, or events background

. Bonus if you've worked with local marketing or have graphic design / Canva experience.
