Marketing Manager
to lead and execute multi-channel campaigns, drive measurable lead generation, and deliver strategic success across all locations.
The Role
As Marketing Manager, you will lead the delivery of high-impact, audience-focused marketing strategies that generate leads, increase footfall, and drive brand growth. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you'll manage a small team, take ownership of campaign planning and performance, and collaborate across the business to deliver results.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Campaign & Lead Gen Leadership
Work collaboratively with the Head of Marketing to shape the overall marketing strategy and translate it into deliverable campaign plans.
Translate marketing strategy into integrated B2B and B2C campaigns focused on conversion and qualified lead generation across all revenue streams (ticketing, education, corporate venue hire, events, paranormal).
Develop and optimise full-funnel campaigns across paid and organic channels to grow databases, generate inbound leads, and drive sales.
Own and improve lead generation pipelines for corporate, education, and private hire audiences.
Manage campaign priorities and timelines to keep everything on track and ensure projects are delivered smoothly across multiple deadlines.
Team Management & Workflow Oversight
Lead an agile marketing team, providing structure, guidance, and mentoring.
Oversee campaign calendars and project workflows to ensure timely delivery.
Foster a high-performance culture focused on creativity, accountability, and results.
Develop and implement clear planning and prioritisation systems to manage team output and campaign deadlines.
Support the professional development of team members through structured feedback, mentoring, and learning opportunities.
Content, Channel & Platform Management
Oversee creation and delivery of content across digital, print, email, PR, and social channels.
Manage landing pages and user journeys to optimise lead capture and conversion.
Work with external agencies and developers to maintain and enhance WordPress websites.
Plan, launch, and monitor campaigns on Meta Ads, Google Ads and Mailchimp.
Analytics & Reporting
Own marketing reporting across campaigns, channels, and lead pipelines.
Analyse and report on key metrics (e.g. leads generated, cost per lead, conversion rate, ROI).
Translate data into insights that drive continuous improvement and performance optimisation.
Deliver clear reporting dashboards and performance summaries to senior management.
Collaboration & Communication
Act as the central point of contact between marketing, attraction teams, sales, and agencies.
Create clear, concise, creative and media briefs for internal and external production.
Align marketing activity with operational and sales goals for each attraction.
Skills & Experience
Essential
5 years' experience in a full-mix marketing role with lead generation responsibility
Proven track record of delivering qualified leads via paid/organic campaigns
Excellent data analysis and reporting skills using GA4,Meta Ads Manager, etc.
Hands-on experience with CRM/email platforms (e.g. Mailchimp, WordPress)
Strong understanding of conversion optimisation and user journey development
Confident team leader with the ability to manage priorities and motivate others
Familiar with project management tools (ASANA)
Desirable
Experience in heritage, tourism, attractions, or leisure sectors
Strong working knowledge of SEO, PPC, and digital content production
Familiar with Adobe Creative Suite or Canva
Ability to brief and manage agencies, freelancers, and external partners
Passion for customer storytelling and engagement.
This is a full time 37.5 hours per week, fully remote UK (with on-site presence when required), permanent role.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, with a salary of 36,000 - 40,000 depending on experience. with a requirement of 5 years in a full marketing mix role with proven leadership and lead generation experience.
