Marketing Manager

Job Description

Are you a marketing all-rounder with a passion for football that runs as deep as your knowledge of GA4?

Do you get a buzz from seeing a well-optimised product page hit the top of Google, or a clever social campaign sell out a 90s Archive kit?

If you live and breathe both beautiful data and beautiful football shirts, we want to hear from you.

Who We Are:

The Soccer Archive is a premier destination for rare, authentic, and iconic vintage football shirts. Launched in early 2023, we offer a diverse selection of original vintage football products. We specialise in authentic, rare, and iconic football shirts from legendary clubs and players worldwide, catering to passionate fans, collectors, and fashion enthusiasts alike.

More than just a retailer, we are archivists and storytellers, connecting fans with the rich history and emotional significance of the beautiful game. With a thriving e-commerce store and physical locations, we are experiencing rapid growth and are looking for a talented marketing expert to lead us into our next chapter.

The Opportunity:

Creating content for emails (Klaviyo), the blog, and, in liaison with the Social Media Manager, social media posts Organising of in-store and offline events. This entails conceptualising engaging event themes, assisting with logistical planning, and coordinating with the store managers and staff. Developing promotional strategies across both digital and traditional offline channels, like local press or direct mail, to drive footfall and online engagement. Working within a set budget, analyse the event's return on investment, and ensure the activity strengthens brand awareness and bridges the gap between the company's online presence and physical community.

What We're Looking For (The Essentials):

Proven experience (3-5 years) as a hands-on digital marketing manager, preferably in an e-commerce or retail environment. A genuine, deep passion for football. You understand the narratives, the legends, and the culture that make our products so special.
