Job Summary: Coate Water care has been operating care homes since 1995, specialising in providing personalised care for people who are living with dementia. As the Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for oversight of and leading the Sales and Marketing function within Coate Water Care, ensuring our sales and marketing processes support the overall commercial performance of the business, continuously aligns with sector and customer requirements and supports services to achieve agreed performance levels. This role reports directly to the CEO.
Key Responsibilities
:
Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies.
Liaise directly both remotely and in person with our Regional Team, and our Home Managers regarding the marketing of their Homes, optimising opportunities to maximise enquiries, show-rounds and admissions into our Homes. This will require the Marketing Manager leading and supporting marketing activities across Homes, Regions and across the company.
Identify new sales and marketing opportunities.
Manage and monitor sales and marketing budgets in conjunction with the Finance Director and senior Operational Managers.
Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders and business partners.
Monitor sales and marketing activities in services, supporting improvements and consistent high-quality approaches to enquiry management, show-rounds and conversion strategies.
Undertake competitor market analysis to establish service levels, fee rates, and sales pipelines.
Travel to all our Homes will be a regular and consistent requirement.
Strategic & Digital Marketing
Oversee digital, social media, and event marketing across 9 care homes
Manage job advertising and recruitment marketing
Optimise online profiles and web content for SEO impact
Monitor and analyse PPC performance and advertising analytics
Present insights and recommendations from monthly campaign reviews
Maintain accurate CRM entries and manage marketing platforms
Creative Production & Brand Materials
Design print and digital assets: flyers, brochures, signage, welcome packs, social posts
Edit and produce advertorials and narrative content for web and publications
Plan and execute photo/video shoots involving residents and staff
Uphold brand guidelines across all homes, campaigns, and consultants
Team Liaison & Community Engagement
Collaborate closely with care home managers to tailor strategies to each site
Organise and support events, competitions, fundraising and award submissions
Coordinate internal communications: newsletters, updates, initiative launches
Maintain consistent communication with senior operations teams
Operational Oversight
Manage marketing budgets and purchase orders collaborating with SMT
Track and analyse sales reports to optimise impact
Apply GDPR compliance principles to all communications and data handling

kills & Experience
Proven experience in marketing, graphic design, and campaign delivery
Competent in Creative Suite's, Canva, CMS platforms, and basic web editing
SEO and PPC knowledge, including Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, etc.
Exceptional English writing skills and confident communication style
Ability to work independently, multitask, and respond dynamically across locations
Comfortable arranging & attending events and shadowing home teams to capture local engagement.

Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Extensive experience of large sales and marketing campaigns with targeted outcomes
Experience of formulating sales and marketing strategies, bespoke and tailored to specific sectors
Skilled in the development of and use of, sophisticated CRM systems and associated reporting.
Experience of colleague and customer satisfaction surveys associated data and reporting.
Experience of developing service/product offering to ensure such evolve to meet the changing needs of customers, service requirements and wider market demands.
