The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in developing and delivering effective marketing campaigns to drive audience engagement, brand awareness and event success. You'll also work closely with key stakeholders, exhibitors and partners - so excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships are essential.
We're looking for someone who can immerse themselves in the recycling industry, keep up with trends, and bring creative ideas to the table while managing a small but growing marketing team.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement creative and strategic marketing campaigns for UK-based trade exhibitions and industry publications
Plan and deliver multi-channel marketing activity including email, social media, digital content, and print
Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure marketing activity supports sales and audience growth
Manage timelines and budgets across multiple projects simultaneously
Conduct post-event evaluations and implement improvements
Build strong relationships with stakeholders, partners and key industry figures
Oversee the work of the marketing team and support their development
Monitor and report on campaign performance using analytics tools
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a marketing role, ideally within events, media or B2B sectors
Proven ability to lead marketing campaigns from strategy to execution
Strong project management and organisational skills
Experience in digital marketing platforms (e.g. Mailchimp, Meta, LinkedIn, Google Analytics)
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
