We are seeking a thoughtful, proactive and confident Marketing Manager to complement our Sales & Marketing team. The Marketing Manager will assist in the development and deployment of marketing, communications strategies, and initiatives at property level. They will handle all media visits and enquiries, site tours, oversee filming and photo shoots that relate to internal marketing strategies across selected departments, in conjunction and direction from the Director of Sales and Marketing. They will execute and participate in all promotional and marketing efforts, connect with third party opportunities, and support the development and maintenance of all hotel collateral, communications and parentships in order to promote the business in a unique and varied way.
Duties
Manage the coordination of marketing and communications activities to leverage/reach results as directed by the DOSM
Assist in the creation of all marketing material - (Guest & Internal i.e. Menus, leaflets, in-room etc) and manage the production of all hotel and sales team collateral, branding and logo items ensuring all branding and company guidelines are followed
Respect Hilton and Curio brand guidelines when working on collateral or dealing with thirds party clients or design agencies
Assist in the coordination of marketing campaigns with sales activities
Monitor and measuring the effectiveness of any marketing communications/campaigns
Support the DOSM in maintaining effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant hotel departments are kept informed of marketing/communications objectives and initiatives
Distribution press releases to targeted media/media agencies
Collate all material with hotel coverage
Fact check content, across third party and social platforms to ensure solid coverage and positive reflection of the hotel brand
Ensure press material, image library, third-party websites etc. are updated and accurate
Ensure media and partners lists are accurate, updated and well maintained
On property DOSM support (be present during any filming and photo shoot activity - both internal and external, conducting site tours when required)
Report monthly into the DOSM with coverage and planned media/marketing plan for the 3, 6 9-month period
Handle media inquiries and interview requests and respond to enquiries from media, individuals, and other organizations
Produce and submit PR, Marketing and Social media activity report
Provide and manage all social media content and posts, along with all editorial, keeping in line with the hotel brand and persona
Monitoring social media channels in responding to guest requests and ensuring relevant internal parties can assist
Build a network of digital influencers to create content and showcase the hotel, staying within hotel persona
Manage and monitor the hotel website, ensuring images are up to date, content is in line with the branding and any promotions have been showcased
Support in any e-marketing related campaigns and activities
Attend any hotel meetings relevant to the role; Commercial, Sustainable, Front Office and Food and Beverage
Skills
Outstanding English in writing, editing and oral communication
Ability to prioritize, organize work assignments and follow-up in a timely manner
Ability to execute a multitude of tasks in a timely basis
Extremely detail oriented
Be able to work with little direction at times, i.e., understand the brand and be able create own ideas and initiatives
Have a confident and dynamic personality, be a true team player
Can work independently, without direct supervision or cohesively as a team

Work flexible hours, covering evenings, weekends, and holiday periods if/when requested

Knowledge of main social channels and how they work
Ideally hold a Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field preferable. If not, then at least 2 years-experience in a similar role with proven success
Prior experience in the hospitality, travel, trade, or restaurant space is preferable but essential
Strong command of the English language both written and spoken
Knowledge of new business and high-end luxury market is desirable
