The Role
We are seeking a
self-motivated, creative, and organised Marketing Manager
who can work autonomously while collaborating closely with our sales and business development teams. This is a hands-on role that combines strategic planning, digital marketing, content creation, and event promotion.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Strategy & Campaigns
Plan, develop, and execute marketing campaigns to promote products and brand awareness.
Monitor, analyse, and report on campaign performance.
Digital Marketing & Online Presence
Manage and update the company website (WordPress; WooCommerce desirable).
Produce engaging content for social media platforms (LinkedIn, X/Twitter, YouTube).
Create and distribute newsletters via Brevo, Mailchimp, or similar platforms.
Design & Content Creation
Produce datasheets, catalogues, brochures, and promotional materials.
Design graphics and layouts for digital and print campaigns using Adobe Creative Suite.
Produce and edit product demonstration videos.
Photograph products
Exhibitions & Events
Plan and promote company presence at trade shows and exhibitions.
Represent ALS professionally at events and liaise with industry partners.
Collaboration & Market Insight
Work closely with sales and business development teams on product launches and promotions.
Maintain and update the extensive product catalogue (digital and print).
Liaise with marketing professionals within the sector to identify collaboration opportunities.

English A-level or equivalent (or strong professional written communication skills).
Minimum 3 years' experience in a marketing lead/senior role, ideally in a small or medium business.
WordPress website management (updating pages, SEO, plugins; WooCommerce training can be provided).
Social media marketing and audience engagement.
Email marketing platforms (Brevo, Mailchimp, or equivalent).
Content creation for print and digital campaigns (datasheets, catalogues, brochures).
Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign; video editing desirable).
Valid UK Driving Licence.
Desirable:
Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
Advanced digital marketing certifications (Google Analytics, social media).
Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) in Photoshop, Illustrator, or InDesign.
Videography and video editing experience.
Experience marketing in healthcare, safety, or technical B2B sectors.
