The role



As our Marketing & Sales Assistant, you'll help Capital share what we do, celebrate our work, and engage new and existing clients. This includes managing our digital presence, coordinating branded material, assisting with bid and proposal submissions, and helping us keep our sales pipeline updated and moving.

You'll be embedded in our operations team, working directly with senior leaders and project teams. It's a role with variety, visibility, and space to grow, perfect for someone with creativity, drive, and attention to detail.

Life as a Marketing & Sales Assistant at Capital:



As a Marketing & Sales Assistant at Capital, your days will be varied, collaborative, and creative. You'll take ownership of our social media presence by planning, designing, and scheduling posts using tools like Canva and Buffer. You'll help keep our website fresh and engaging by updating project case studies and news items through WordPress. Working closely with senior team members, you'll contribute to bid writing by drafting content, proofreading, and formatting proposal documents to a high standard.

A key part of your role will involve supporting our sales pipeline, maintaining our CRM system, tracking enquiries and proposals, and helping the team stay on top of key business development opportunities. You'll also play a central role in upholding our brand identity across all touchpoints by managing templates, slide decks, and marketing materials.

There'll be opportunities to get involved in coordinating CPD and industry events, writing award submissions, and celebrating project milestones through case studies and updates. You'll liaise with internal teams to gather content and ensure our successes are shared both internally and externally. This role will give you visibility across the business, and the chance to develop your skills in marketing, sales, and strategy, all while contributing to Capital's continued growth and reputation.

A degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field (or equivalent experience) 1-2 years of experience in a marketing, communications, or sales support role (internships or placements also considered) Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills Confident using Canva, Buffer (or similar scheduling tools), and Microsoft Office Familiarity with WordPress (basic content editing, blog uploads, formatting) Organised and able to manage competing deadlines and tasks Attention to detail with a strong sense of brand consistency Comfortable using CRM systems or tracking sales pipelines in spreadsheets A proactive mindset and willingness to get stuck into different areas of the business Interest in professional services or the built environment (desirable but not essential) Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) or working towards membership (desirable)
