We are now seeking a commercially minded Marketing & Sales Manager to join our team and help us accelerate growth.

Role Overview



The Marketing & Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in driving Glowbolt Group's commercial success. Rather than delivering marketing activity directly, you will be responsible for managing external agencies and partners (SEO, marketing, PR, and advertising) to ensure maximum efficiency and results. Alongside this, you will identify and pursue new revenue opportunities through both traditional and modern sales approaches.

This role suits someone who is enterprising, commercially astute, and able to think strategically about how best to use available resources to generate leads, build the brand, and convert opportunities into revenue.

Key Responsibilities



Agency Management:

Manage relationships with external marketing agencies (SEO, digital marketing, PR) to ensure strong ROI and measurable outcomes. Oversee Glowbolt's presence on advertising platforms to maximise effectiveness. Ensure marketing budgets are used efficiently and tied to commercial results.

Sales & Business Development:

Identify new business opportunities and revenue streams, both locally and nationally. Attend and represent Glowbolt Group at networking events, trade shows, and industry gatherings. Support and grow relationships with existing clients while targeting new prospects. Develop and track sales pipelines, ensuring consistent follow-up and conversion. Analyse results from marketing and sales efforts to ensure activities align with company objectives. Provide recommendations to leadership on new campaigns, partnerships, or sales strategies. Use reporting and data to measure success and adapt strategies accordingly.

Innovation & Strategy:



Explore new approaches to market Glowbolt Group and stand out from competitors. Blend modern digital opportunities with traditional sales and marketing tactics. Stay ahead of industry trends and customer needs to ensure Glowbolt is positioned for long-term success.

Skills & Experience:



Proven track record in sales and/or marketing management, ideally within construction, electrical, or related industries. Strong experience managing external agencies and measuring ROI. Excellent understanding of both traditional and digital marketing channels (SEO, PPC, events, advertising). Commercially minded with the ability to spot and act on growth opportunities. Confident communicator with strong networking skills. Organised, proactive, and results-driven.
