Marketing Senior Internal Communications Executive

Job Description



Work collaboratively to deliver the bank's internal communications strategy. Support a culture of transparency and connection through clear, consistent messaging across internal channels. Where applicable, to place the interests of customers at the centre of all activities, act in a way that is consistent with achieving good outcomes for consumers; and to comply with the FCA and PRA's Conduct Rules.



Key Responsibilities:




Internal Communications




Responsible for daily internal news updates, fielding communications requests, preparing weekly all-colleague round-up, and supporting colleagues from across the business in the management of our intranet site, Arbuthnet. Responsible for keeping the company intranet site up to date and on brand. Create internal communications campaigns. Working with department heads and business partners to understand their objectives ahead of delivery and help them to understand our guidelines and capabilities to ensure timely delivery of engaging content. Delivery of content across our internal channels (email, intranet, town halls, in-person and virtual events, and digital signage). Act as a champion of our brand, house style, and company values, and Colleague Promises and Commitments to Clients. Designing and delivering internal campaign material to support colleague engagement and strategic priorities. Colleague engagement for social media. Working closely with HR to support people-focused initiatives and communications, including but not limited to employee benefits, policy updates, and colleague recognition. Produce monthly data and insights to share with other team members and your stakeholders.

Responsible for managing risks inherent to the role by diligently observing internal policies and procedures.

Knowledge/

Experience/Skills:




Strong writing skills with excellent attention to detail Proficient in digital communication tools including CMS platforms, SharePoint, Canva, PowerPoint and email automation software Experienced in engaging with senior stakeholders and responding to business needs Comfortable offering creative input in team settings, contributing ideas to support marketing and growth initiatives Proactive in understanding wider business strategies and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement Knowledge of SignageLive (or equivalent digital signage software) is an advantage Broad understanding of banking, lending, and wealth management is an advantage (including investment management) Experience with copywriting with meticulous attention to detail The ability to work independently as well as part of a team Strong planning, organisational and time management skills are key Experience supporting the delivery of change communication strategy Facilitation and Presentation Skills

Relevant degree or equivalent experience
