About the role

Facilitate students' development of core life skills through engaging and interactive group sessions



We're looking for expert tutors to deliver engaging 90-minute Masterclass workshops to groups of 16-17-year-olds. You'll design sessions around the 21st Century Skills framework, covering areas like communication, collaboration, and media literacy, using interactive tasks and real-life scenarios that help students develop essential skills for adulthood. Your workshops will encourage active participation and equip young people with practical abilities they can apply beyond the classroom.

From 32 to 55 per hour

Main duties

Design and deliver an engaging 90-minute Masterclass:

Create and lead a workshop for groups of up to 50 students aged 16-17, focused on developing key skills from the 21st Century Skills framework.

Facilitate interactive learning:

Structure your session around short, hands-on tasks and activities that encourage active participation and collaboration between students.

Utilise real-world scenarios:

Use practical, relatable situations that students will encounter as they approach adulthood, helping them understand how to apply these essential skills in their daily lives and future careers.

Create an inclusive environment:

Engage students from diverse international backgrounds, ensuring everyone feels comfortable contributing and learning from one another.

About you

You're a passionate educator with experience coaching young people, and you're eager to create interactive, engaging sessions for 16-17-year-olds. You excel at cultivating energy and participation within groups, and you're motivated to design tasks that are both fun and educational.

Essential



Experience teaching or coaching young adults. Proven ability to tailor sessions to the specific needs of your audience. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Right to work in the UK (we cannot sponsor work visas for this role).

Desirable



Experience working with international students and non-native speakers. Experience working in academic summer schools.
