Mitsubishi Air Conditioning Systems launched its operations in the UK air conditioning market in 1985. The Livingston factory, located 18 miles from Edinburgh, Scotland's capital, was officially registered in 1993.


Production began in 1994, and M-ACE serves as the central hub for Mitsubishi's heating and air-conditioning operations in Europe, employing around 1000 personnel across its seven locations.


Currently functioning as the group's hub for the air conditioning sector in Europe, the facility collaborates with other group factories located in Japan, Thailand, and China.


In 2009, M-ACE began to expand by entering the domestic heating market with the production of air-to-water heat pumps.


By utilising innovative and high-quality proven technologies, M-ACE manufactures air conditioners and heat pumps with built-in advanced intelligence. Looking to the future, we will continue to introduce new models to comply with European regulations and meet diverse market needs.


A permanent, day shift vacancy has arisen for a Material Controller within our Purchasing department based in Linlithgow, West Lothian.


Responsibilities of the role will include:

Order/Expedite orders with our worldwide suppliers via MRP system. Run Shortage sheet and action any potential line impact issues Vendor rating management Liaising with import / Freight Forwarder to arrange delivery & sending Customs instructions Building strong working relationships with our global suppliers, forwarders and other departments Maintaining adequate stock levels of production parts Updating MRP system Stock control (overstock & obsolete)

Key requirements include:

Skills in Microsoft packages and MRP knowledge Problem solving skills Good communication and presentation skills Team player Experience and understanding of Import supplier, purchasing knowledge and speaking other languages can be advantageous.

Minimum qualification required:

GCSE in English & Maths HNC/D in Business studies preferrable
