Job Description

As a key member of the Logistics team for the portables/fixed business you will be expected to link across functions of Manufacturing, Sourcing, Suppliers and Couriers to ensure that the lines of communication are open across these functions to enable customer orders to be completed in line with their delivery expectation

Key Responsibilities



Understand and Develop processes and implement control measures around material handling. Primary aspect of the role is preparing raw material for manufacturing and to collect from manufacturing the finished order. Cycle Counting, Investigations of material discrepancies. Working with relevant departments; Implement and sustain Material Handling controls. Where discrepancies are present these will need to be identified and escalated via the correct functions to remove the bottle neck. Pack customer orders following any special instructions noted on the paperwork, to the correct standard.

Principal Responsibilities


To move Raw Material and Finished Product safely to the necessary areas Pack customer orders following any special instructions noted on the paperwork, to the correct standard.

Other Responsibilities


Working with Goods Inwards/Picking Team to enable effective movement of product Provide updates for Tier 1 boards for any issues in the respective areas

Skills required


Methodical and Organised approach required Good computer skills (Microsoft Excel and Word) SAP

The Candidate



Education required (academic and/or technical education)


GSCE or equivalent in Maths and English



Behavioural Competencies required (e.g. organisational skills, ability to lead a team, etc.)


Ability to communicate with personnel of different backgrounds and seniority Proactive approach to implement new procedures Highly organised and methodical approach Physically able to achieve daily routines for this role
