Your Responsibilities

  • Responsible for ensuring the efficient and timely availability of materials for production or supply chain operations.
  • You will take care of a part of the international product portfolio of our in the EMEAI region.
  • Implement inventory control strategies to maintain optimal stock levels, minimise excess or obsolete inventory and ensure availability to support the production schedule, as well as arranging movements between them as required.
  • Setting inventory stock levels to align with site/group inventory goals- in conjunction with the Senior Material Planner and the Procurement team.
  • Develop and manage storage planning for inventory, whilst including delivery and storage choices between various onsite warehouses and external storage.
  • Determine appropriate order quantities, delivery dates and safety, whilst creating and maintaining material plans and schedules based on production requirements, sales forecasts and lead times.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of material and develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to optimise procurement processes.
  • Import TARIC codes and liaise with relevant colleagues to decide on new ones and ensure they are applied correctly at each import.
  • Assist in the creation of department reports, with generated reports, identifying trends and provide insights to support decision making and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Work closely with production teams to understand production schedules, capacity constraints and any changes in demand or priorities.

Your Profile
  • Proven experience in material planning, inventory management, or supply chain operations
  • Strong analytical and problem- solving skills, with the ability to analyse data, identify trends and make data-driven decisions
  • Proficient in using supply chain management software, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross- functional teams and suppliers
  • Attention to detail, organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast- paced environment.
  • Knowledge of demand forecasting methodologies, inventory control techniques and supply chain best practices.
