Freelance Materials Buyer - Luton - 25 Pounds Per Hour - 3 Month Contract Min.
We are seeking an experienced Freelance Materials Buyer to support a large housebuilder on a three-month contract based in Hitchin.
Key Requirements
Extensive experience within the construction sector Strong ability to interpret drawings and produce accurate material take-offs Confident in reviewing and processing variations or amendments to drawings, and updating take-off schedules and orders accordingly Strong IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Excel Experience with COINS is beneficial but not essential Familiarity with multiple ordering systems is preferred Must have recent, checkable references Must be able to hit the ground running, manage workload independently, and consistently deliver a high standard of work Looking for someone who is conscientious, focused, and detail-oriented
