The Opportunity

12 months Fixed Term Contract

In this role as a Planner, you'll play a vital part in ensuring materials and packaging are available to meet production demand. Your role will involve effective ordering, inventory control, supplier engagement, and cross-functional communication to drive performance and efficiency across the site.



Key Responsibilities :

Manage daily system updates and ensure accurate order placement with suppliers. Build strong internal and external relationships to maintain service levels. Place orders and schedule deliveries in line with production plans. Review NPD and promotional activity to ensure material readiness and stock management. Maintain and update planning systems and Excel stock boards.
Use KPIs to optimise stock levels, reduce waste, and prevent redundant stock.

Experience in a similar planning or supply chain role within a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of MRP/ERP systems and intermediate Excel skills. Confident communicator with strong attention to detail and organisational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities, suppliers, and deadlines effectively. High level of numeracy, literacy, and a solutions-focused mindset.
