Are you ready to be part of the most significant opportunity unfolding right at your doorstep? Bid farewell to extensive travel and contract work as we invite you to join the groundbreaking developments in the field. Whether you seek a stable future or have a passion for Green Energy, this is your chance.
Why us? We will be the biggest XXXL Monopile factory in the world servicing the offshore wind industry with several secured projects commencing in 2025.
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Materials Planner to join our team. This pivotal role acts as the key operational link between Procurement, Warehouse, Production, and Logistics, ensuring the timely and traceable availability of materials and consumables for each monopile project. You will be responsible for managing a wide range of materials including raw steel, PPE, welding consumables, and secondary steel, while maintaining full traceability and certification records.
In this position, you will coordinate with external 3PL providers to manage off-site stock, ensuring timely and accurate material call-offs. Working closely with Procurement, you will oversee deliveries and material specifications, and collaborate with the Stores team to ensure proper storage and issuing processes are followed. Your work will directly support production by aligning material availability with operational schedules and maintaining up-to-date and accurate stock data in the ERP system.
You will play a key role in monitoring consumable usage, flagging replenishment needs, and tracking the use of secondary steel across projects for planning and accounting purposes. In addition, you will produce regular stock reports and inventory valuations to support cost tracking and management accounting. Participation in stock checks, audits, and reconciliation activities will also form part of your routine responsibilities.
To succeed in this role, hands-on experience in materials coordination or stock control within a heavy manufacturing or fabrication environment is essential. You should have a solid understanding of ERP/MRP systems, stock traceability, QA requirements, and be highly competent in using Microsoft Suite packages for data analysis and reporting. Strong communication skills and a high level of attention to detail are critical. While not essential, having a forklift or plant equipment licence would be a valuable asset.
