About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Materials Planning & Logistics Manager to take ownership of end-to-end planning and logistics operations within our manufacturing function. Reporting to the Head of Manufacturing, this role is pivotal in ensuring alignment between client demand, production capacity and supply chain efficiency.

You will be responsible for developing and executing a robust master schedule, managing material flows, and leading a team to deliver operational excellence across planning, scheduling, and logistics.

Key Responsibilities

Review client requirements and develop a comprehensive Master Schedule Lead the implementation and ownership of a new ERP system Manage raw materials -- inbound, inventory control, and outbound logistics Oversee production product management against schedules and factory capacity Ensure smooth flow of raw materials and finished goods in line with production and warehouse capacity Line management of a team of five within the Materials, Planning & Logistics function

Essential skills & experience:

Proven background in materials planning, scheduling, and logistics within manufacturing Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems, inventory management tools and advanced Excel Strong analytical and problem solving skills with sound decision making abilities Effective communicator with strong stakeholder management skills Leadership experience managing planners, logistics coordinators, or similar roles
