Are you a dynamic and experienced midwife looking to take the lead in ensuring safe and effective maternity care?
We are seeking a highly motivated Maternity Flow and Capacity Midwife to join our team in a shift-based role that is central to maintaining operational flow and patient safety across the Trust. In this leadership position, you will play a vital role in coordinating the Trust's activity on a shift-to-shift basis, focusing on both acute and elective maternity admissions. Your responsibilities will include ensuring efficient service user flow, optimising bed utilisation through the coordination of admissions, transfers, and discharges, and acting as a senior midwifery lead during out-of-hours periods. You will provide clinical operational support to all on-site staff, responding to security and clinical incidents, escalating concerns to appropriate on-call personnel as needed.
We are looking for a Registered Midwife with strong leadership skills, and a sound understanding of clinical coordination and bed management. If you are organised, decisive, and passionate about high-quality maternity care, this is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact. Join us and be part of a supportive and forward-thinking team dedicated to delivering exceptional outcomes for mothers and babies across the Trust.
