We're Looking for a Day Tutor Who:

Passionate about

education and child development.

Calm, compassionate, and patient. Proactive, positive, and ready to inspire! Especially if a student becomes disengaged or lacks motivation during the lesson. Proficient in teaching Maths, Science and English up to GCSE.

Your Role Will Involve:

Leading

small group

sessions tailored to each student's needs. Creating personalised learning plans and progress reports. Supporting students who may have learning difficulties such as Dyslexia or ADHD. Communicating clearly with the manager, students and StudyBox team. Tracking progress and adapting teaching strategies based on student needs. Reporting any important academic or personal concerns promptly. Being a

friendly, encouraging presence

students look forward to seeing each day.

What You'll Need:

Experience working with children in an educational setting (preferred) Excellent communication, empathy, and organisation skills. A

minimum Grade 7 in GCSE Maths, English and Science (required).

Thorough understanding of the UK

Maths, English and Science curriculum up to GCSE (required).

Ability to adjust teaching methods to suit individual learning styles. Initiative and creativity to keep lessons fun and effective. Availability

Monday-Friday, 12:00-4:00 PM

during term time. Punctuality and professionalism - arriving

15 minutes early

to prep for lessons

Wallington SM6 0DW: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
