Job Summary

We are a UK start up that is seeking a dedicated and passionate Tutor to support students in their academic journey. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, particularly those requiring special education assistance. This role involves providing tailored educational support, fostering a positive learning environment, and helping students achieve their academic goals.

Responsibilities

Conduct one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions tailored to individual student needs. Develop personalised lesson plans that align with the curriculum and address specific learning challenges. Communicate effectively with students to explain concepts clearly and encourage engagement. Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as necessary to ensure comprehension and retention of material. Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other educational professionals to create a cohesive support system for each student. Maintain a positive and encouraging atmosphere that promotes confidence and a love for learning. Attend in house training sessions and workshops from time to time as required.

Skills

Proven experience working with children in an educational setting, particularly those with special educational needs. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey information and engage students. Ability to educate and inspire students through innovative teaching methods and resources. Patience, empathy, and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of learners. A genuine passion for helping students succeed academically and personally.

Job Type: Freelance

Pay: 13.00-17.00 per hour
