Fully Qualified Teacher of Mathematics

Here at Aspire People, we are seeking a resilient and patient Fully Qualified Teacher of Mathematics (FQT) to join a committed and supportive teaching team. You will be joining a school that provides high-quality education to young people with a range of SEMH and additional needs, and we are looking for a Maths specialist who is passionate about making a real difference in their lives.
About the Role

• Deliver engaging, differentiated Maths lessons across Key Stages appropriate to a variety of learners.
• Create a supportive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes positive behaviour and encourages student progress.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including therapists, support staff, and leaders.
• Contribute to curriculum planning, assessment, and personalised learning pathways.
• Inspire confidence, resilience, and achievement in every learner.

About You
We are looking for someone who:

• Holds QTS/QTLS with specialism in Mathematics.
• Has experience teaching learners with SEN/SEMH needs (desirable but not essential).
• Brings creativity, patience, and a nurturing approach to teaching.
• Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.
• Has strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a close-knit team.
