About the role:

Supply Desk are working with a Secondary School in Portsmouth that are seeking a full time Maths teacher starting from 1st September on a long term contract with the school looking to make the role permanent for the right person. The School are seeking an excellent Maths teacher that will be teaching Key Stage 3 and 4. The School are looking for a Maths teacher that has good management skills in the classroom and is gets on well with students and staff. You will be a reliable and professional Teacher that will be fully committed to the contract. The school are happy to consider experienced Maths teachers and NQT\'s and ECT\'s for Maths that are looking for a role in a supportive department.

About the School:

This excellent Secondary School is based in Portsmouth and is a mixed Secondary School with around 900 pupils in total. The School is based close to central Portsmouth with easy access for those travelling through public transportation. The school is conveniently located for those travelling from Southampton, Fareham and Chichester and surrounding areas.

The candidate:

• Deliver high quality Maths lessons in Key Stage 3 and 4 and building a strong relationship

with students and colleagues. * Monitor pupil progress for all lessons, keeping records that include assessment

outcomes and targets for Maths and set at regular intervals in line with school policy, to
enable all pupils to reach their full potential * Support the spiritual, moral, social and cultural development of pupils through both

classroom teaching and in the role of Form Tutor * Experience of teaching Maths curriculum
