Every year, we support over 300 individuals in our housing provision, enabling them to grow their confidence and move into education, training, employment and into independent living. Alongside this we provide a whole host of youth and community services including our own community gardens. We also provide training and education to 150 young people each year who find mainstream education more difficult, as well as high-quality childcare within our community.

25918 - 26518pa (depending on experience/qualifications)

Hours:

Full time 35hrs per week/Potential part time



Do you have a passion for maths and supporting learners to achieve their GCSE or functional skills grade? If so, we are looking for a programme tutor to tutor our young people working towards qualifications up to level 2. No previous experience in teaching essential, with opportunities for professional development available for the right candidate. If you have a passion for working with young people to develop their maths skills and Knowledge and want to support young people to achieve their qualifications we want to hear from you.

This fast-paced and varied role gives an individual the chance to make a real impact on our success. This role will be sales focussed working towards set KPI's, building effective relationships with our customers and maximising our brand recognition.

Requirements:

Ideally you will have the following: -





CET/AET (Certificate/Award in Education and Training) or equivalent, or willing to work towards. Experience of delivering maths lessons to small or large groups. Experience of working with disaffected 16 - 19-year-olds GCSE 4 (c) or higher in maths & or English. Experience of coaching and supporting young people to secure positive outcomes. Level 3 qualification in maths or relevant experience that demonstrates knowledge to this level.


A driving license and use of own car is essential as there will be an expectation to work across numerous sites.
