Job Description

We are looking to onboard passionate tutors to deliver 1-2-1 tuition in the Greater Manchester region. We offer bespoke tuition to the local area and pride ourselves with providing a personable service.

Ideally you will be a qualified teacher with classroom experience and/or knowledge of the national curriculum or any 11+/GCSE/A-level syllabus.

Sessions will take place on weekday evenings or weekends however daytime sessions are also available during the week. The role is to start as soon as possible.

Here are some desired qualities of our tutors:

Professional

-

Able to communicate and conduct themselves in a manner that is appropriate to dealing with students, parents and schools. Tutors should be punctual, trustworthy and mature in the way they deliver their tuition.

Knowledgeable -

Familiar with their subject topic so they can effectively support students in their tuition sessions. There may be opportunities for the tutor to embark on new exam boards or age groups and the it is up to the tutor to learn the appropriate content in order to deliver effective tuition.

Inspiring -

Our tutors understand that they are dealing with the next generation and our goal is not only to improve the grades of the students but also to inspire them to find their confidence and realise their own potential to help carver their own way in life.

Authentic -

We take pride in the fact that we focus on making the right match between student and tutor. This is important for the growth of the student therefore tutors should be authentic, knowing what they can offer their students and the ways in which they can best help them. If you can be yourself with the student they are more likely to be themselves.
