Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Mechanic Apprentice to join our team. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to learn and develop your skills in automotive service and repair. As an apprentice, you will be involved in the maintenance of our company fleet and customer vehicles while receiving training in all aspects of vehicle maintenance and repair. This is a full-time and long-term role, must be a hard-working individual, not afraid of long hours and can use own initiative. Holiday allowance provided.

Must be able to commute to/from Redhill.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the maintenance and repair of the company fleet and customer vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Perform basic services, including oil changes, tyre repairs/replacements. Participate in all aspects of vehicle maintenance, including routine inspections and cleaning. Receive training for major repairs, helping to develop your technical skills and knowledge. Conduct vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations. Keep detailed maintenance logs for all service work performed on vehicles using in house systems. Assist with remote work on vehicles, including off-site servicing when required. Support vehicle recovery operations, ensuring safe transportation of non-operational vehicles. Provide roadside repairs to assist our fleet, demonstrating problem-solving and technical ability.
Qualifications:

College Apprenticeship Course completed - or completion during employment. or equivalent (required). A strong desire to learn and pursue a career in automotive repair. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to work well in a team environment and follow instructions. Good communication skills and customer service orientation.
