Job Summary

Part Time. 8 - 15 hours per week

We are seeking a reliable, skilled & versatile person to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of vehicle or plant mechanics and have experience in workshop operations and commercial driving.

This role involves assisting one of our largest "Plant Hire" customers, maintaining our hire equipment on site & in their yard. As well as transporting of goods safely and efficiently and basic front line mechanical or hydraulic repairs.

Responsibilities

Assist in yard with general cleaning, lifting, moving & carrying Carry out front line servicing & repairs on "Plant" hire equipment Drive van to collect & deliver goods. Including the loading and unloading of cargo, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Navigate routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and company policies.
The days will be very mixed between the workshop & driving.

Requirements

Valid driving licence with towing. Strong mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting. Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members effectively. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team within a fast-paced environment. A good understanding of warehouse operations is advantageous but not essential.
