TeamSport Leicester is located north east of the city centre. The centre is accessible via the A563 and is three miles from Leicester train station.

The Role:

We are recruiting for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our track team as a Junior Mechanic. If you have a passion for go-karting, enjoy working with your hands, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

As a Junior Mechanic, you will be responsible for

Assist with the maintenance and repair of go-karts, ensuring they are in top-notch condition for our customers. Conduct routine inspections to identify any mechanical issues and carry out necessary repairs. Carry out general maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tyre rotations, and cleaning of the go-karts. Collaborate with the maintenance team to troubleshoot and resolve any technical problems. Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and ensure compliance with safety standards. Assist with track preparation and setup for race events. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any concerns or enquiries related to go-kart performance.

What we need from you...

Some basic knowledge/study or experience in mechanical or electrical maintenance; cars, bicycle's, motorbikes, quad bikes etc. Basic knowledge of engine mechanics and troubleshooting. Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with colleagues and customers. A passion for go-karting and a desire to deliver an exceptional customer experience. Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as per business needs.

Shifts are available from Monday to Sunday including weekends and evenings on a 4, 12 or 30 hour per week contract. Flexibility is vital for this role.
