Mechanical Contracts Manager (HVAC):

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Contract Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of contract management, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, and fostering strong relationships with our clients and supply chain. This role requires excellent organisational skills, leadership capabilities, and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

Manage the entire contract lifecycle from initiation to completion, ensuring all contractual obligations are met. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to facilitate effective communication and collaboration. Review, draft, and negotiate supply chain subcontracts. Utilise project management skills to oversee contract implementation and monitor performance against agreed terms. Prepare reports and documentation related to contracts using Excel and Office applications. Conduct regular audits of contracts to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement. Lead training sessions for staff on contract management processes and best practices. Collaborate with IT teams to enhance contract management systems and tools. Maintain accurate records of all contracts and related correspondence in Outlook.

Qualifications

Proven experience in contract management or a similar role, demonstrating strong leadership abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong negotiation skills with a focus on building positive relationships. Knowledge of legal terminology and principles related to contracts is advantageous. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and drive. Familiarity with project management methodologies is preferred. HNC or higher in Building Services Engineering.
