Based at one of our Green Energy AD Plants Near Aberdeen, with regular travel to two other sites in the East of Scotland

Responsibilities

Reporting to the maintenance manager, the Postholder will be joining a small team for planning and undertaking maintenance upon Anaerobic Digestion Plants in the East of Scotland, these include pumps, compressors, gas engines, gas upgraders,. The plants process agricultural crops to produce biomethane and electricity.

The Role

The role includes:

Mechanical fitter duties, possibly fabrication Basic electrical work related to mechanical maintenance Planning mechanical maintenance activities including procurement To lead and supervise some mechanical maintence activities on site Some admin duties within the maintenance management system, Take a small infrequent part in an out of hours call out rota Assist in the wider management of spares and procurement Take a part in the development of mechanical maintenance and plant improvement

Requirements/Qualifications

Preferably time served or equivalent in an industrial mechanical or electrical trade environment at least 5 years relevant experience.
Some electrical maintenance experience would be beneficial but not essential

Any additional experience with anaerobic digestion, gas practice or agricultural engineering helpful but not essential
