to lead our mechanical team and help deliver high-quality projects.
The Role
As
Mechanical Site Supervisor
, you will play a key role in overseeing mechanical installations and site operations from start to finish. You'll manage a team of engineers and operatives, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate mechanical site activities, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes
Supervise and support mechanical operatives, fostering skill development and team performance
Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
Collaborate with project managers and other departments for seamless project integration
Maintain accurate records of work, materials, and progress
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues promptly
Ensure the team has the tools and resources needed to succeed
Required Skills & Experience
Proven experience supervising mechanical works on-site
Strong leadership and organisational skills
Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail
Effective communication skills (verbal and written)
In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems, regulations, and safety standards
Commercial awareness and ability to provide technical support
Qualifications & Certifications
SMSTS or SSSTS
First Aid at Work
Relevant mechanical qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing & Heating or equivalent)
Previous experience managing mechanical teams and projects
