Project Overview

Join a mixed-use commercial fit-out in central London, overseeing mechanical installations across office, retail, and communal spaces. You'll be instrumental in delivering robust mechanical services on a high-profile project within Zone 1.

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day on-site mechanical operations--HVAC, plumbing, ductwork, kitchen and plant-room systems. Lead subcontractor & labour coordination--ensuring delivery to agreed quality, timeline, and health & safety standards Conduct regular site inspections, quality auditing, risk assessments, and toolbox talks. Oversee mechanical testing, commissioning, and handover. Maintain project documentation: RAMS, method statements, progress reports, site diaries. Interface with the senior project and contracts teams for smooth schedule and budget performance

Required Experience & Qualifications

Proven experience as a Mechanical Site or Construction Manager on commercial fit-out projects in London (>5M project value) Strong background in M&E / Building Services mechanical systems, including HVAC, ductwork, and plumbing . SMSTS (or SSSTS) and CSCS / ECS card essential. Proficient in creating RAMS, method statements, and overseeing H&S compliance. Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills. Full UK driving licence preferred.
