Rate: 300 - 350 per day (DOE)
Contract Length: Initial 6 months, with further projects to follow

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Site Manager to oversee the delivery of a large-scale mechanical package on a major construction site in the Oxford area (OX28). The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple subcontractors and ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and within budget.

You will be working on a mechanical package valued at approximately 5 million, acting as the key point of contact on site for all mechanical activities.

Key Responsibilities

Day-to-day management of all mechanical works on site Coordination and supervision of up to 5 mechanical subcontractors Ensure works are delivered in line with programme, drawings, and specifications Manage quality control, inspections, and snagging Maintain high standards of health & safety and site compliance Attend and lead site meetings as required Liaise closely with the main contractor, project managers, engineers, and subcontractors Monitor progress and report on programme and cost implications Support commissioning and handover processes
Requirements

Proven experience as a Mechanical Site Manager on large construction projects Strong background managing mechanical packages valued 5m+ Experience working on large commercial or industrial sites Confident managing multiple subcontractors simultaneously Strong understanding of mechanical building services SMSTS, CSCS (Black or Gold), and First Aid preferred Excellent communication and organisational skills
