The role of the Media (Senior) Account Executive is to work within a team to help deliver media planning and buying for allocated clients. As the (Senior) Account Executive, you will be working day to day alongside an Account Manager, taking instructions on how to fulfil client briefs and work.
The role will be required to work across all media channels but specifically working with digital media. An executive will build digital campaigns and then monitor performance so that they may be optimised.
Booking campaigns and providing all administrative support to ensure that the necessary paperwork is raised and distributed to the relevant channels, making the booking active.
As an assistant, the role requires you to support all administrative and reporting activities within the team, from invoicing through to monthly digital reports.
The role requires accurate and detailed work.
Responsibilities & Duties:
1. Working "day to day" to help the Account team deliver client work efficiently across Tier 1 accounts.
2. Have ownership to run Tier 2 & 3 accounts independently but with the direction and support from both Account Managers and Account Directors.
3. Using email to receive and carry out actions from both clients and team members quickly and efficiently.
4. Checking campaign performance using the relevant tools to ensure that campaigns are on target to be delivered.
5. Placing bookings onto Adserve so that media suppliers receive booking confirmations and that client sales invoices can be raised.
6. Creating, checking and coordinating digital reports monthly alongside the Account Director.
7. Ensuring that media schedules are kept up to date and that once bookings are confirmed, the relevant creative partners are given creative copy deadlines, contacts and access to the creative specifications.
8. Work with the finance team to ensure that purchase order numbers are requested from clients for all active bookings in good time to raise invoices.
9. Help Finance with any invoice queries or help to chase outstanding client account.
Key Skills:
1. You will be expected to complete both Google and Facebook training throughout working with The Media People.
2. You will be required to have passed both Google Fundamentals and Stage 1 Facebook exams, which covers the core competencies.
Qualifications and Relevant Experience:
Judged on an individual basis - our normal requirement is a degree-level qualification, but applicants could have relevant or equivalent industry experience or qualifications.
