Media Technician - The Role:
Wiltshire College & University Centre is seeking a skilled
Media Technician
to support our dynamic
Creative Media and Music
provision at the Chippenham campus. This is an exciting opportunity to work in industry-standard facilities and contribute to the development of future creatives.

Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and manage media and music equipment and specialist spaces
Ensure compliance with
Health & Safety
regulations across all technical areas
Support the delivery of
workshops, classes, and live events
Assist in the planning and execution of
enrichment activities
Provide technical support to staff and students during practical sessions
Contribute to the smooth running of productions and creative projects

You
You will be a proactive and organised individual with a strong technical background in media production. Experience in studio operations, AV equipment, and digital workflows is essential. You'll be confident working independently and collaboratively, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to supporting creative learning.
Key Skills & Experience:
Knowledge of studio equipment and software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, DAWs)
Strong understanding of health and safety in technical spaces
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to support learners and staff in a creative educational setting
