We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented and empathetic individual to join a team as a Mediation Case Manager within a non-profit Community mediation service.

About the role:
You will be joining a team working for a community voluntary organisation with a respected reputation that has been helping to resolve conflict in the community for 35 years. The charity's ongoing major projects are in community mediation and restorative justice. They are looking to expand and further develop work with schools, in workplace mediation and in providing training. This role represents an opportunity to lead an established mediation service into the next stage of its development.
As Mediation Case Manager, you will work closely with the Service Manager/Chair of the Board of Trustees. and supervise our Administrative Assistant. You will be responsible for coordinating all mediations and related activities supporting the efficient delivery of the charity's services to the highest possible quality. You will also be responsible for general office administration, maintaining and developing efficient systems to support the functioning of the organisation.

Building and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders
Maintaining and developing efficient office systems
About you:
As Mediation Manager, you will ideally be a qualified Mediator and have experience of working in a case management environment although this is not essential for the role. Your excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask will be vital in coordinating and facilitating the mediation process.
Other essential skills and experience include:
Experience of working with and engaging volunteers
Ability to communicate effectively with vulnerable clients
Experience of managing difficult conversations
Administration experience
Ability to use and present data
Fluency in written and spoken English
Self-directed learner and able to work autonomously.
. Knowledge of community resources, social services, and healthcare systems is advantageous.
. Very confident working with Microsoft office and a good understanding of web-based communication.
Understanding of handling sensitive and confidential information
Understanding and use of Social media
